Our Uncommon Yukon Lodge is located in the beautiful Ibex Valley north of the Yukon's capital, Whitehorse. Our custom built wilderness lodge and log cabins have been a labour of love for us for over ten years. Each detail of our Uncommon Yukon Lodge facility has been painstakingly planned by us and our Yukoner friends and we welcome you to our home. 

The Uncommon Yukon Lodge which is home base for many of our adventure vacation trips consists of the main log cabin, complete with a sundeck and six-person hot tub, showers, two guest bedrooms, loft library and full cooking and dining facilities. Our custom-built “homestead” also includes two guest log cabins, a 20 foot guest yurt, a greenhouse, a workshop, a recreation room with a large screen TV, cozy reading area and northern book library and internet access. A horse barn and corrals, and of course many dog houses for our four-legged guides complete this beautiful and spacious “command central” for your Uncommon adventure!

The only road in this beautiful area in Canada ends right at the driveway that leads to our Yukon wilderness log lodge and log cabins. You could conceivably mush a dog team 200 miles to the Pacific Ocean from our front yard and not see another soul (except, perhaps, for grizzly bears and caribou) for the entire trip! Every room of our lodge has a spectacular view of the Coast Mountains. Snowy peaks can sometimes be seen even in June and July. The pristine Ibex River is a short mountain bike away as is Scout Lake, stocked with rainbow trout, some as large as 15 pounds!

The Yukon log cabins immediately adjacent to our comfortable Yukon Lodge are built from local black spruce squared timbers. In fact, the logs for the main dining room of the Uncommon Yukon Lodge were milled right on the property. Herbs for your dinner are picked in Martha’s greenhouse and the berries for the evening’s dessert come from a secret berry patch nearby.
