Adventures in Canada's Yukon by Dog Sled and Canoe
"It feels good to be the youngest kid ever to go on one of your winter camping trips! I love the dogs!!"

Our Commitment to the Environment

We care passionately for the wilderness we travel through. Our guests invariably feel the same way. In a place where footprints can last a lifetime, people must tread with care. Every effort is made to leave no trace of our passing. Our wilderness basecamp has been built so that it may be moved leaving almost no trace whatsoever. All refuse including dog feces is transported back to the Homestead for removal after each trip. Our guides are all trained in the most current no trace camping practices. Many of them teach environmental ethics for either Outward Bound or the National Outdoor Leadership school. As active members of the Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon we have been vocal supporters of efforts to protect the Yukon’s precious landscape and fauna. In fact, twice a year we submit trip reports to the Department of Renewable Resources to help provide data used in determining the carrying capacity of the areas in which we travel.

It is our hope that our efforts will ensure that In time, your grandchildren will be able to visit the Yukon and feel the same awe that you do; as you experience this pristine wilderness with us for the first time.
