Join us between late August and mid October for optimal viewing of Aurora Borealis and the spectacular Northern Lights! Experience this natural phenomenon while enjoying a try dog sledding, canoeing Scout Lake and the Takhini River, fishing for rainbow trout and arctic grayling, ATV driving, hiking through scenery lit up by incredible fall colors and sightseeing in Whitehorse. Stay at the deluxe Uncommon Journey’s Wildnerness Lodge and go for a paddle on a pristine Yukon lake, then travel by ATV to our Yurt Basecamp for dynamic lightshows of the Aurora Borealis amidst the fall beauty of Yukon’s wilderness. Enjoy the spectacular views from Mount Ingram, deep within the historic Ibex River Valley. Relax in a hot tub after sampling gourmet cuisine and premium wines in your comfortable and warm wilderness accommodations.

  • The guide to guest ratio is 1:4 max.
  • There are full, 4 piece washrooms in the main cabin at the Homestead, and an outhouse (with dutch doors and an insulated seat to enjoy the Aurora!) and a sauna/shower house at the Yurt Wilderness Basecamp.
  • Vegetarian and special diets are easily accommodated.
