Outward Bound Adult Courses
Looking for a canoe trip in the Yukon where you’ll not only see spectacular scenery but also learn how to paddle up to class III whitewater, navigate with map, compass and GPS, learn backcountry cooking skills and first aid?
Since 1997, Uncommon Journeys has been contracted by Outward Bound Canada and the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School to provide several different adult canoeing expeditions each year. At Outward Bound, experiential learning or "learning by doing," is of prime importance as is learning to work together as a group. Students are involved in all aspects of the trip from cooking to navigation and trip planning. If you are the type of person who likes to challenged, and dreams of spectacular and remote wilderness, this is the program for you!
